PRSA Phoenix Selects ASU, NAU Scholarship Award Recipients

The Phoenix PRSA Student Scholarship is given annually to active Arizona PRSSA members. Applicants must be currently enrolled at ASU, UA or NAU, active members of their PRSSA chapter and display an outstanding dedication to the public relations field, including leadership in PRSSA, success in internships and excellence in schoolwork.

Congratulations to Jasmine Black from NAU and Tiffany Ellington from ASU, this year’s winners!

Jasmine is a senior at NAU working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communication with an emphasis in Advertising, and a minor in Public Relations.

Throughout her college career, she has maintained being a full-time honors student, keeping a 4.0 GPA, working within the honors community as a peer mentor, being a member of PRSSA, and landing an internship as a Technology Communication Specialist.

Tiffany Ellington is a sophomore at ASU's Cronkite School and will be the 2019-2010 PRSSA Chapter President.

Tiffany currently is a sophomore at ASU pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in public relations from the Cronkite School with honors from Barrett, the Honors College. While maintaining a 4.0 GPA, she served as the ASU delegate to PRSSA’s National Assembly and has placed in numerous speech and debate national competitions. Tiffany as worked as an intern at Ideas Collide since 2017.

Jasmine and Tiffany will be honored at the PRSA Phoenix Copper Anvil Awards presentation on September 10, 2019.
