Speaker: Teri Radosevich, Vice President of Community Relations and Public Affairs, Avnet


Most major corporations have a community relations department, but what is community relations and how can it benefit your company, organization or client? Join us for the April luncheon as Teri Radosevich, Vice President of Community Relations and Public Affairs at Avnet shares how you can integrate community relations into not just your communications plans, but your overall business plan. Teri will share best practices from her experiences at Avnet and give you tips on how you can use community relations to boost your visibility in the community.

About the speaker: 

Teri Radosevich has worked in Community Relations at Avnet for over 9 years. In 2007, she was promoted to Vice President of Community Relations and Public Affairs. In her role, Teri is responsible for community outreach efforts across the Americas, and local community branding of Avnet, Inc., an $18 billion value-added distributor of electronic components, computer products and services. Most recently, Radosevich served as the 2009 Executive in Residence at her Alma Mater.  She also was named the 2007-2008 Community Relations Person of the Year by PR News magazine and received two other national awards from PR News.  Teri also authors a community relations blog, “Blazing the Two-Fold Path,” available at http://blogging.avnet.com/weblog/comrel/
